Gregwise Van Gamgee never quite grew out of looking for magic in the mundane. A lifelong collector of oddities, forgotten tales, and exceptionally round pebbles, Gregwise began writing stories as a way to explain the peculiar things that happen when no one is looking.
The World of Wim was born on a rainy Tuesday when a particularly stubborn umbrella refused to open, prompting a sprawling daydream about a place where things worked exactly as whimsically as they ought to.
Today, Gregwise spends most afternoons in a slightly drafty but wonderfully cozy study, drinking too much tea and charting new territories within the World of Wim for young readers to explore. Every story is crafted to build vocabulary, spark imagination, and create shared moments between parents and children.
