1. About World of Wim

World of Wim is a whimsical, family-friendly fantasy publishing and entertainment brand.

The Site currently provides information concerning World of Wim books, stories, characters, educational entertainment, author information, retailer purchase options, and related creative content.

World of Wim may evolve over time to include additional stories, educational resources, videos, characters, media, and other family-friendly content.

Descriptions of possible future World of Wim offerings do not constitute a promise that any particular product, feature, service, or form of media will be produced or made available.

2. Children and Family Use

World of Wim creates content that may be enjoyed by children and families.

Children should use the Site with the involvement and supervision of a parent, guardian, teacher, or other responsible adult as appropriate.

The Site does not currently provide visitor accounts, direct messaging, public comments, child profiles, on-site purchasing, or active newsletter registration.

Purchasing, contact, subscription, educator, and commercial interactions are intended primarily for adults.

If you are not legally able to enter into binding agreements in your jurisdiction, your use of any activity that creates a legal obligation must be conducted by or with your parent or legal guardian.

3. Intellectual Property

• book covers;

• videos and audiovisual material;
• page design and presentation;
• downloadable materials; and
• other original creative works appearing on the Site.

Gregwise Van Gamgee is the author identity used by Gregory Van Buskirk in connection with World of Wim.

Third-party names, trademarks, logos, retailer marks, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of World of Wim intellectual property to a Site visitor.

4. Permitted Use

You may use the Site for lawful, personal, family, educational, and informational purposes consistent with these Terms.

Unless World of Wim expressly authorizes otherwise in writing, you may not:

• reproduce or republish substantial portions of the Site for commercial purposes;
• sell, license, or commercially exploit World of Wim content;
• create unauthorized merchandise using World of Wim characters, artwork, logos, or branding;
• remove copyright, trademark, or attribution notices;

5. Educational and Personal Use

World of Wim welcomes appropriate personal, family, classroom, library, and educational engagement with the brand.

Any downloadable material specifically offered for printing, classroom use, family use, or another defined purpose may be used according to the instructions or license presented with that material.

Availability of educational content does not automatically grant permission to reproduce or distribute books, illustrations, characters, or other copyrighted material beyond the permission expressly provided.

6. Books and Third-Party Purchases

WorldOfWim.com currently directs visitors to third-party retailers, including Amazon and Lulu, for certain book purchases.

WorldOfWim.com does not currently operate its own checkout system.

When you follow a retailer link and make a purchase:

• the transaction occurs with the third-party retailer;
• the retailer determines current price, taxes, shipping, availability, delivery, return, refund, and payment policies;
• the retailer’s terms and privacy policy govern the transaction; and
• World of Wim does not control every aspect of the retailer’s checkout or fulfillment process.

Retailer prices and availability may change without notice and may differ by country, format, shipping destination, currency, marketplace, taxes, or promotional conditions.

For this reason, WorldOfWim.com may choose not to display exact retailer prices.

7. External Links and Third-Party Services

The Site may contain links to:

• Lulu;
• social-media platforms;
• video platforms;
• author profiles;
• external publications; and
• other third-party websites or services.

World of Wim does not control the content, security, availability, privacy practices, policies, or operations of third-party services.

A link from WorldOfWim.com does not necessarily constitute endorsement of every statement, product, policy, advertisement, or service appearing on the linked site.

Use third-party services at your own discretion and review their applicable terms and privacy policies.

8. Accuracy of Information

World of Wim strives to present accurate and useful information.

However, information concerning:

• books;
• retailer availability;
• formats;
• publication details;
• paper specifications;
• third-party services;
• external links;
• product availability; and
• other changing information

may occasionally become outdated, incomplete, or inaccurate.

World of Wim may correct, update, clarify, or remove Site information at any time.

Where third-party retailer information conflicts with the Site regarding a retailer-controlled matter such as current price, shipping, taxes, stock, or transaction terms, the retailer’s current information governs that transaction.

9. No Professional Advice

World of Wim content is provided for creative, educational-entertainment, informational, and general family use.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, content on the Site is not intended as legal, medical, financial, psychological, educational-placement, or other regulated professional advice.

10. Availability of the Site

• every retailer will continue carrying every title; or
• future World of Wim concepts described on the Site will ultimately be released.

11. User Communications

If you voluntarily email World of Wim, you are responsible for the content you choose to send.

Do not submit confidential third-party information, unlawful material, malicious code, or content that you do not have the right to share.

Sending an unsolicited idea, story, character concept, manuscript, artwork, product concept, or other creative submission does not create a confidential, fiduciary, partnership, employment, agency, or licensing relationship with World of Wim.

World of Wim is not obligated to review, compensate, develop, publish, license, or return unsolicited creative submissions.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

World of Wim makes no guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or free of all technical defects.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Gregory Van Buskirk and World of Wim will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising solely from your use of, or inability to use, the Site.

World of Wim is not responsible for losses caused by the independent acts, systems, policies, failures, or transactions of third-party retailers, platforms, websites, payment processors, shipping providers, or other external services.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

14. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or expenses arising from your intentional unlawful misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

This provision does not impose obligations that cannot lawfully be imposed on you.

15. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also subject to the World of Wim Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains the Site’s current information practices and should be read together with these Terms.

Any legal proceeding concerning the Site that may lawfully be subject to this provision should be brought in an appropriate state or federal court having jurisdiction in Florida.

Nothing in this section eliminates consumer rights that applicable law does not permit a contract to waive.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

19. No Waiver

Failure by World of Wim to enforce a provision of these Terms on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce that provision or another provision later.

20. Changes to These Terms

World of Wim may update these Terms as the Site, products, technologies, or legal requirements evolve.

The Last Updated date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent revision.

Your continued use of the Site after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
